I haven’t been buying a lot of eye shadows lately because I tend to stick to the boring matte champagne colors but when I was at Walmart at 10:30 at night (don’t ask), I saw this gorgeous Hard Candy palette. It was basically love at first sight. Who needs boys when you have pretty makeup right?
There were five different varieties of this palette: nudes, pinks, greens, purples and blues. Usually I would go for the nudes palette, but then I saw this one, the pinks palette called ‘Pinking of You’! The name is kind of adorable. I’m usually not a fan of pink eyeshadow, hello pink eye! But these shades seemed so wearable and this palette only cost around six dollars so I decided to give it a try!
I’m so glad I did because I am obsessed with this palette. I bought it a week ago and I’ve worn it every single day which is quite an accomplishment for me! The formulation is so pigmented and they almost have a creamy texture, not a flaky powdery feel at all! The ten-shade selection in this palette is very well thought out. They have some true pink colors towards the right end of the palette but they also included some taupes and peaches towards the other end as well as a white and a cranberry color. With the wide selection of colors, their are so many different eye looks you could create! Anythings from a very natural eye to a more smoked pink look! I’ve been having so much fun playing around with this palette. The only downside to this palette would be that their are only shimmery shades. There is an absence of matte shades but if you don’t mind shimmer, this is definitely the palette for you!

So, for my birthday, my lovely friends, Emily and Heather (Thanks guys <3) got me the Lancome Baume in Love in the shade, Urban Ballet. I have been lusting over it for the longest time and it is the most amazing lip product ever.
First, let’s talk about the packaging. The whole Spring collection has the cutest packing, it’s all pink and girly and perfect!
Secondly, the texture of this is amazing. I guess this could be considered a tinted lip balm but it is really so much more than that. It is a super sheer hot pink but it almost changes to a brighter pink on your lips throughout the day. Two of my best friends bought this product as well and it looks absolutely amazing on their lips as well, it’s so universal! It is also super moisturizing and I love how glossy it applies.
There is not one thing I would want to change about this product. It is the prettiest lip balm/lip color that I own! I believe this is a limited edition product so pick it up while you still can!

When the Covergirl Blast Flipsticks first came out, I was skeptical of the hype. I didn’t see what was so special about them. I viewed them as one end being a plain lipstick and the other end an overly shimmery, frosty mess. But boy, was I wrong.
I picked up one in the color Perky and I just started using it a few days ago. To start off with, I love the consistency. They are somewhere in between a regular Covergirl lipstick and a Revlon lipbutter. They have the texture of a tinted lip balm with the pigmentation of a lipstick. Brilliant? Yes, yes it is.
I immediately loved the bright hot pink end of this stick but I was a bit hesitant to try the shimmery pink lipstick. I have a phobia of this shade ever since a couple years ago when I though pale frosted lips were in. Yeah, it wasn’t a good look. However, this shade is different. When layered over the bright pink, it gives a gorgeous sheen and shine. This can be placed all over the lips or just in the center to give extra pout and a fuller look. This shade gives the look of placing a lip gloss over your lipstick when in reality, it’s just layering lipsticks. It’s quite a cool concept.
This Flipstick is marketed as having a bunch of endless looks in one product and I think they definitely achieved that. Both ends are completely wearable on their own but equally was fun when paired together. I like it. I like it a lot.

I think phone cases are yet another fun way to add some color and excitement into your outfit. They act as a stylish accessory so I really love these cases from Switch Easy. The first case, The Blossom, is so pretty! It has large 3D plastic flowers. I thought it would look a bit cheap in person but I think it looks so cute and it’s very durable as well! It also comes in a really pretty purple color, a mint, and a black. The next case is called the Colors case simply because of all the fun colors it comes in. This clean-design, silicone case is perfect for matching a more busy outfit. The bright but solid color makes a pop but without attracting too much attention away from your outfit. My favorite part about this case is that it has a special home button built in, in a coordinating color so it’s super cute! This case comes in 13 different colors so you are sure to find your favorite! Also, all the cases from Switch Easy come with headphone jack and connector protectors as well as screen protectors which is a nice added value for the price! Go check out Switch Easy!
