I’ve never been a huge Sephora fan. As you may know, I work at Shoppers Drug Mart so my loyalties lie with them. Our beauty boutique is a thousand times better anyways. Plus, you can’t beat that employee discount.
However, there are a few brands at Sephora that we don’t carry. So, since Sephora is currently having their VIB sale and everything is 20% off, I thought I would pick up a few things that I have been wanting to try for a while.
- Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette($34)- Who doesn’t need another matte eyeshadow palette? Maybe me… but we will just ignore this. I love the taupe hue of this palette. The colors are absolutely perfect.
- Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush in Reckless ($36)- I haven’t bought a Marc Jacobs blush in a very long time so I figured it was time to buy a new one. This one is a icy pink mauve color and is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the perfect all-year color.
- Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rollerball Duo($24)- I don’t buy perfume. I have so many from work so I really didn’t think I need another one. However, I have kept thinking about these fragrances designed by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. You can wear the fragrances separately or together and I thought this set was the perfect way to try out both. They smell so freaking good!
- Bumble and Bumble Windswept Hair (to go) Set($26)- I used to use Bumble and Bumble hair products all the time but then my wallet started to hate me so I stopped. However, I’ve been hearing such good things about their Surf Spray that creates the perfect messy hair. To be honest, I didn’t notice a huge difference in my hair from these products, but I will keep trying them out and let you know my thoughts at a later day. I might return them, might not.
