So it’s official. I hate winter. It’s totally killing my blogging. And by blogging, I mean taking pictures of my outfits. You might be asking “Tay, why is it so dark? Were you taking these pictures at midnight?” Nope, this was at 4 o\’clock. 4 o\’clock in the afternoon. That’s right. I don’t understand. I had to use flash in order for my outfit to even been seen and I don’t know how I feel about it. I look like a ghost. If anyone has any ideas for how I can continue to photograph my outfits throughout the winter, please let me know.

Black Friday has come and gone. I don’t usually go Black Friday shopping. It’s not that big of a deal here in Canada. I usually save all my energy (and money) for Boxing Day. However, I’ve been noticing that Black Friday and Boxing Day sales have been becoming more comparable so I allowed myself to do a little bit of Black Friday shopping this year. Zara was 30% off in store and online so I was freaking out. I placed both an online order and then went shopping after school. I don’t have a problem, I promise. At least I didn’t skip class to go shopping like last year.

I bought these jeans in store from Zara and I have been looking at them for the longest time. I almost didn’t buy them but as my friend was standing in line, I decided to give ‘em a try. They’re a cool rusty-orangey-tan-camel color that are surprisingly versatile. I paired them with this black turtleneck that I ordered online from Zara. I also own this turtleneck in a black and white striped version that may or may not be my favorite shirt ever so I knew I needed to get it in another color. It’s just so comfy. Overtop, I wore my aztec printed jacket from Billabong.

For boots, I really wanted to wear my new Zara boots that I also got on Black Friday (what a surprise). However, they are suede and the snow would have ruined them. So I wore my Hunter rain boots instead. These things are not warm. My toes were angry. For accessories, I wore my beloved Marc purse and Fossil watch. Very simple!

So that’s that. Sorry for the crappiness of these pictures. I will figure something out for the rest of Winter. Or maybe I’ll just move to California. That could work.
