Now that my winter semester of university has kicked in full force, I tend to turn down my style a notch and revert back to chiller clothes. (Chiller? Hmm. ) Don’t get me wrong, I’m still wearing dresses and skirts and cute booties to school, but there are also days when I wake up at 7:30 and needing to get to school by 8, I have no other choice than to pick out only a semi-decent outfit.
As you may have come to realize, I have an unhealthy obsession with Zara. Their clothes are on point lately and it definitely doesn’t help that I have to pass by one everyday as I go to and from school. So naturally, my entire outfit is from Zara today. For my November Style Wishlist last month, I talked about a very special bomber jacket at Zara that I had fallen in love with, but I had passed it up due to the unreasonable price tag of $100. However for boxing day, this jacket went on sale for $35 and I immediately ordered it. It doesn’t look like much but I think it’s a very good basic piece to own.
Another thing that I love about Zara is their graphic tees. There’s nothing better.I have this special place in my heart for quirky and weird shirts.Every time I pop into the store I find a new tee that speaks to me. Today it was this one, a drawing of a potato man with the caption ‘My Boyfriend’. I thought it was a pretty accurate portrayal of my life currently. And I’m not saying that I have a boyfriend that resembles a potato, I’m saying that I have a potato that I pretend is my boyfriend. I live an unfortunate life. #singleasapringle
To wrap this up, let’s all say a lovely hello to Oakley. I taught him to play piano today. He does a nice rendition of Chopsticks. He really is the smartest dog ever.
