I am incredibly preppy and Spring-y today and I couldn’t be happier. There are days when I want to dress in all black and mourn the loss of my childhood (didn’t ya hear I’m twenty now?) but there are also days when I want to dress as colourfully as I can and today was definitely one of those days.

This sweater was one of the first things I have ever bought from Vero Moda which in case you didn’t know, is one of my favorite clothing brands. I don’t why I love them so much, I just do. Apparently the sweater wasn’t preppy enough for me today so I layered a cream collared shirt under it. I received this shirt a great deal of time ago from Elizabeth and Clarke and yet, I have only worn it a mere couple of times. It’s a great shirt, it deserves to be worn.

To complete the preppy-ness of my outfit and prepare me for school, I carried my Marc Jacobs laptop bag. This laptop case is one of my favorite things at the moment. (I feel like everything is my favorite thing, I’m not good at picking favorites okay. I don’t discriminate.) Ever since I got a new computer and retired my old 15 inch Marc Jacobs laptop case (if you would like to buy it, let me know), I have been on the hunt for a new case. However, no stores seemed to have the perfect one… until I set foot in Nordstrom when my friend and I took a roadtrip to Calgary. There in Nordstrom, hung the perfect laptop bag. It was everything I had envisioned. Sadly, it was a tiny bit out of my price range and I didn’t want to have to make a spontaneous decision. So, I tore myself away from it and went back to Edmonton. However, once home, I couldn’t stop talking about it and my mom decided I deserved an early birthday present. So, she went ahead and ordered it for me. Thanks mom, you da real MVP. You go Glen Coco.
