Florals? For Spring?Groundbreaking.

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.

After the long Winter, I couldn’t wait to start wearing bright colors again. So, that’s exactly what I did. I think this is the most colourful outfit I have worn in a long, long time. A big part of that has to do with this blazer. I got this jacket when I first started my blog from the cutest Australian brand, Sabo Skirt and yet I’ve only worn it a handful of times. I forgot I had it but when I was looking for something to wear with my jeans, I found it again!

Speaking of jeans, these are the jeans that I distressed myself. I recently did a Make It Yourself Monday featuring these jeans. I think they turned out so well! I’m so excited to wear these all summer! They turned out so much better than the original and now, they are the perfect pair of coloured denim.

To tone down all the brightness going on in this outfit, I kept it simple with my white Adidas sneakers. I am still very determined to keep these babies white. It’s getting harder and harder every day. For jewelry, I decided to wear gold pieces today. I am not the biggest fan of gold jewelry, but these layered necklaces tied in my purse and watch so nicely so I sucked it up.

You might recognize the location in these photos today. I have done a couple of outfit posts here before (this one and this one). I don’t know why but I think it might be one of my favorite places in Edmonton. It’s just off the side of a road near the ski hill by my house and it’s hidden behind tons of trees. It’s such a peaceful little field.
