Brownstone Livin’

I feel like I look like a real New Yorker here. I’m just casually leaving my brownstone apartment. Can you all just agree with me so I can feel better about myself? I miss New York way too much. These pictures were taken just off of Bleecker Street in Soho. I really need to live here.

It was a very hot day this day so I figured a skirt was absolutely necessary. I’m wearing a loose floral skirt with an Aritzia crop top paired with it. My sneakers are my white Adidas. I would have preferred to wear sandals or flats with this outfit, but that’s just not an option here in New York. I changed up my sunglasses for the day. I borrowed them from Megan. They’re the ones she bought from Free People on the first day of our trip. They’re pretty darn cute. I am once again carrying my giant tote bag that safely houses my camera all day long.

Now, while I’m pretending to be a New Yorker, what you don’t see is the millions of shopping bags off to the side, out of shot. Before we stopped to photograph my outfits, me and Megan were shopping all day long. We had just gone to all six Marc Jacobs stores. Yes, you heard me correctly. There is six Marc Jacobs stores all in walking distance from each other. Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories, Marc Jacobs Kids, Marc Jacobs Men, and Marc Jacobs Beauty. Oh and there is Bookmarc as well. Is that heaven? Yes, yes it is. (To see what I bought, click here)
