Ever since Edmonton first installed the infamous Silver Balls art piece in our river valley, I knew I wanted to take pictures with them. It’s been five years, but that day has finally come. The Silver Balls didn’t disappoint. And with the beautiful leaves changing colour, Edmonton has just been looking prime lately.
My outfit doesn’t particularly scream Autumn today but I figured my jacket provided enough color. I’m surprised I haven’t worn this jacket on the blog before. I picked this up last year a few days after Boxing Day from The Bamboo Ballroom. It provides the perfect amount of the classic red plaid to my wardrobe, with the leather accents modernizing the jacket. It’s cool, I dig it. I paired it with simple shirt from Madewell, which is J.Crew’s sister company for all you non-Americans. This is a very special shirt because I got it at my very first sample sale in New York. If that doesn’t scream that I’m a real New Yorker, I don’t know what does.
My jeans are my favorite Citizens of Humanity Rockets, which are probably the best pair of grey denim I have ever had. I’ve only had two other pairs of grey jeans in my life, so maybe that’s not saying much, but still. These jeans are great. The rest of my outfit is relatively boring. There really isn’t too much to say. So instead, I’ll say this: I hope you all are having a wonderful start to school and aren’t getting too stressed out. Remember to leave your homework and studying every once in a while and relax. Studying 24/7 isn’t good anyone. I have to go back to studying now though, peace out.
