I really wanted to like this mascara. I really did. The concept of it is really cool afterall. This is the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Lash Extension Kit. It’s so different from your typical mascara. In addition to including a mascara, this set also comes with these little fibres. In theory, the idea is brilliant. You apply the mascara and while it is still wet, you apply the little fibres to add both volume and length to your lashes. Then you apply another coat of mascara to seal everything in.

I’m not gonna lie, my lashes looked pretty damn good with this mascara. They were twice the length and so voluminous. It looked like I was wearing false eyelashes. There was just one problem. No matter how hard I tried, the fibres would always get stuck in my eyes and end up irritating them for the entire day. They say beauty is pain, but boy oh boy, I could not deal with it. When you apply the extensions, the fibres fly everywhere. They never stick just to my lashes, they get everywhere, including in my eye. So, unfortunately I had to say goodbye to this mascara set. My lashes had never looked better but I couldn’t deal with the annoyance of the fibres falling into my eyes. Plus, they made my lashes look powdery and fuzzy when you looked up close. That was a bit weird too.

However, with all of that being said, I would still recommend giving this mascara a try. Sure, it’s a pain to deal with, but maybe it will work for you and you won’t end up with fibres in your eyes, instead you will end up with super good looking lashes! I wish you luck!

If you do end up trying this one and hating it just as much me, I would reccomend trying one of the other Physicians Formula mascaras. I have really been enjoying the Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin FakeOut Mascara. Why do Physicians Formula mascaras have such long names? Anyways, this mascara is really great. It has a super spiky brush that ensures no clumps while providing a decent amount of length and volume. It’s a hassle-free mascara, perfect for those mornings when you’re running late.
