I am so excited to share with you my favorite makeup products of 2015! This year has definitely been a good year for makeup! I have found some pretty awesome products that I’m pumped to tell you about! The majority of these products have become included in my everyday makeup routine and I am obsessed with each and every one of them. I’m sure you will be too. Most of these products have their own individual reviews that I wrote earlier in the year so click on those for more in depth thoughts about the products!

Lips:

The Face Shop Ink Lipquid: This was the first product I had ever tried from The Faceshop, the cutest (and first) Korean beauty store here in Edmonton. It’s a stain so it lasts for a super long time without drying out my lips and it leaves the prettiest bright pink colour behind! Check out my full review here.

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in 424 Edith (buy here): This is my first and only Chanel lipstick I own and it’s definitely my favorite lipstick of 2015. The colour is a fantastic light berry and formula is moisturizing and long lasting. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Check out my full review here.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bella (buy here): I have avoided the liquid lipstick trend for quite a long time now. They just never worked well with my dry lips. They would show every crack and line. But with the help of some seriously good lip balms (look for the reviews in the New Year!), I was able to get over my fear of wearing liquid lipsticks and I fell in love with this beautiful bright pink colour. Plus these are hassle free because once they dry, they’re not going anywhere for the whole night.

Eyes:

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 (buy here): I really didn’t think I would like this palette as much as I do. But day after day, this is all I find myself reaching for. It’s perfect for the simple everyday eye. I think this might be the first palette I completely use up! It’s all-matte shades make the perfect natural eye and compliment any makeup look.

Dior Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in 621 mirror (buy here): I have avoided shimmery shadows for the past year but this one is just too pretty to pass up. It’s the perfect champagne shadow and although it has tons of sparkle, it looks so gorgeous on the eye. It’s perfect to wear with super glittery eyeshadows or even with all-matte shadows in the crease to tone it down a bit.

Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer (buy here): This eyelid primer is so much better than any other primer I have ever tried and that is because of all of it’s added benefits. It has SPF 20 and colour correcting properties so it evens out any veins or discolourations in my eyes while also protecting them from the sun. To appreciate the full beauty of this primer, you’ll have to check out my full review here.

Quo Back to Basics Eyeshadow in Sand: This is my holy grail eye shadow. This is all I could ever want in an eyeshadow. It’s the perfect cool toned taupe with a completely matte finish and superb pigment. I use it the most for blending out any shadows in my crease and it does a superb job at that.

Face:

Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush in Reckless (buy here): There’s two things I love about this blush. One, it’s Marc Jacobs so naturally, I love it. Second, the colour is best colour I have ever found in a blush. It’s a cool toned rosy pink that looks absolutely gorgeous on the skin regardless of what season it is. As I’ve said before for most of these products, it’s the perfect everyday blush. Check out my full review here.

Guerlain Baby Glow (buy here): I have always struggled with finding a perfect foundation. Nine times out of ten, they’re too dark for me. My skin is just unnaturally pale and foundations just don’t seem to match me. However, the Guerlain Baby Glow is a sheer makeup that has more of a pink undertone to it so it seems to match quite well. Plus I can’t get over how good it smells and how nice it feels on the skin. Check out my full review here.

Clarins Instant Concealer (buy here): I can’t believe I’ve never talked about this concealer on my blog before! It’s has such a light and smooth texture that never gets cakey on the skin and it has beautiful coverage. It’s intended to be a concealer to hide dark circles underneath the eyes but I find it works well as covering up blemishes as well.

Guerlain Precious Light Illuminator (buy here): This product is intended to be a concealer but I use it for so much more than that. It makes the perfect highlighter. I run this cream product up my cheekbones, down my nose, chin and forehead and anywhere else that needs brightening up and it makes my skin look absolutely amazing. This illuminator has no shimmer in it either so it makes my skin look very natural as well.

Real Techniques Powder Brush (buy here): For the longest time, I have only ever used Quo and Eco Tools brushes but I couldn’t ignore the hype on all of the Real Techniques brushes, so I picked up the powder brush and it definitely didn’t disappoint. This is the softest, fluffiest brush I have ever felt and it does such a nice job at applying my powder.

So those are my favorite products of 2015! They are all absolutely fantastic and I hope you check out a few of them! Also, check out my favorites from 2014 as well because most of the products listed in there are still held dear in my heart! Happy Holidays everyone!

Some of these products were sent free of charge for review consideration. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make When I’m Older possible!
