I’m getting real tired of this whole winter thing. I hate that every time I step outside, I have to be so bundled up so I don’t freeze. Take my outfit today for example. Normally, I would love to have not paired a jacket with this outfit and just worn the vest and sweater. But sadly in Edmonton, that is just simply not possible. Except I still think my outfit is super cute so I guess winter isn’t the worst thing in the world.
I have been looking for a fur vest for as long as I can remember. But it’s surprisingly hard to find one that isn’t tacky or super overpriced. I have been eyeing this one at Zara for a while now. They always seem to ace their vests. I remember they had one a little while back that my friend Taraneh bought (and maybe returned? I can’t recall) and it was super cute! But anyways, I really like the one they had this season and when it went on clearance during their semi-annual sale for half-off, I didn’t waste a minute picking it up! Actually, that’s a lie. I waited four hours to buy it online and then it sold out. Luckily, I was able to snag one in-store a couple of days later! Thank goodness!
Underneath the vest, I wearing a cream sweater from Forever 21. This has been one of my favorite sweaters this season! I rarely like Forever 21′s knits because their quality isn’t the best, but this one has held up amazingly well! It’s so warm and I love the style of it with the warm turtleneck and the wide three quarter length sleeves. As mentioned earlier, overtop I wore my camel coat from Topshop to stop myself from freezing to death. I still froze.
