Ooh sweating. I think that’s the one thing I’ve never talked about on the blog before. But I couldn’t be more excited to be talking about these deodorants fromroutine. For so long I was unaware of just how bad non-natural deodorants really were. My mom tried to educate me on this issue, but I never listened. The aluminum found in common deodorants can easily be absorbed through your skin and then these chemicals may lead to cancerous changes in cells, or interfere with the action of estrogen, which is known to influence the growth of breast cancer cells. So, alas, typical deodorants with aluminum are very, very bad.
But luckily,routinede-odor-creams contains absolutely no aluminum. Instead they contain baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) which is perfectly safe for your body. And in addition to being natural and safe,routineis also such a fun and cute brand! They have 12 different varieties with 3 formulas- a vegan clay formula, a beeswax formula, and a clay and beeswax formula. All of the formulas work amazingly well! They come in a cute pot filled with the cream and can be applied with your fingers or a little spoon if your prefer. And the best part is that even though these deodorants are a bit pricier than the ones you might be used to, they last up to 6 months so they are totally worth the splurge!
I got to try two ofroutine’screams. First, the Sexy Sadie. This is the vegan clay formula and I absolutely loved the scent! It’s smells like vanilla with a some spice thrown in! It’s girly and pretty and it’sroutine’s original scent! The second one I tried out was Like a Boss. This one is the clay and beeswax formula and it’sroutine’s strongest formula. So, if you’re like me and you want the ultimate protection from sweating, you probably want to give this one a try! Plus it’s unisex with it’s musky scent, so both boys and girls can use this one!
The only downside to these deodorants is because they’re not filled with the yucky chemicals that anti-perspirants contain, you might find yourself sweating a little still. But this is perfectly healthy, so if you’re a-okay with that, I really recommend you give these deodorants a try! I love them! Plus these feel so moisturizing and smooth on the skin without leaving any of those pesky white marks on your clothes or bunching up into little balls on your skin!
