I have been experimenting A LOT with hair care lately (check out my previous posts on L’oreal, Envy, and Nioxin) and while I have loved almost everything I have tried, nothing has compared to the new TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System.
This line is like nothing I have ever tried before. When I first heard the concept, I was so surprised, and so curious! Basically, instead of using shampoo first and conditioner second, you reverse the two and start with the conditioner and finish with the shampoo. Weird, right? I was so worried that either my hair wouldn’t get clean enough with using conditioner first or the it would become too dry with using the shampoo last. But surprisingly, neither of these things happened. Instead this system did everything it promised to do. It made my hair extremely soft, like unbelievably soft. My hair is probably the softest it’s been in years!
The main purpose of this line is to provide volume by not weighing it down with conditioner. I definitely noticed that my hair is more voluminous and bouncy without being stripped of moisture. As I have mentioned before in some of my hair care posts, a lot of volume and thickening products tend to dry out of my hair and make it course and not soft. So, I am so happy to finally find a product that gives me tons of volume while also keeping my hair feeling healthy and silky!
The line also includes the Volume & Softness Hair Maximizer which is a leave-in cream you apply after you shower when your hair is still damp. This lightweight cream smoothes the hair cuticles and leaves hair silky and polished. My hair has almost no frizz after I put in this product, which is quite the miracle! There are days I don’t even straighten my hair now, because I actually like how my hair looks naturally with this cream in it!
