I recently got the chance to try out the blinc Box Discovery CollectionI I have been wanting to try out some blinc products for a while now ever since I heard of their famous mascara, so I was super excited to play with these pretty cosmetics! blinc is such a cute concept. Each of their products come in a little tube and aside from their adorable packaging, I was also highly impressed with the actual formulas. blinc offers waterproof qualities while still being incredibly easy to remove, so they won’t smudge throughout the day but come off easily when you are taking off your makeup at night! Today, I will be talking about three of the four products I received; the mascara gets a whole other review because it’s way too cool, so stay tuned for that!
First is the blinc Eyeshadow Primer. I’ve never really tried out a hugeamount of primers, but this one definitely falls into my list of favorites. The formula is light and silky and instantly blends onto my eyelids. It helps my eyeshadow stay on all day without budging! But, one of my favorite things about this primer is that it’s tinted a light nude colour so it conceals any veins on my eyes. My eyelids are so pale and thin so I really like how my purple and blue veins are hidden underneath this primer! And this primer is also available in a slighter darker flesh tone for anyone who isn’t quite as pale as me!
The next product is the blinc Eyebrow Mousse. I’ve been focusing on my eyebrows a bit more lately. I still don’t like the super dramatic drawn on look (it looks great on girls, just not for me!), but I’ve been enjoying making them look a tiny bit fuller and giving them some shape. This eyebrow mousse is a great product for doing that! Mine is in the shade Light Brunette and it’s the perfect colour for days when I want to go a bit darker with my brows. The formula is water resistant as well, so it doesn’t fade, run or smudge. It stays put so it’s going to be a lifesaver on sweaty, hot days!
Lastly is the blinc Life Proof Eyeliner Pencil.This pencil is so incredibly creamy and it glides on so smoothly. It can be smudged out for a softer line or it can create a more clean, crisp line. And then once it dries, it’s smudge-proof and waterproof so you don’t have to worry about this pencil creating (not-so-cute) racoon eyes throughout the day! This pencil also comes in seven other gorgeous colours as well! I am dying to try the pretty nude pencil on my waterline!
Another cool thing that I should mention about all three of these products is that they all have some great anti-aging properties in them! They contain vitamins and ingredients that will help to condition and take care of the skin! It’s always a plus when makeup has long term effects on your skin as well as the short term beautifying effects!
