Last Outfit of Winter

I like winter outfits. I really do. I like booties and coats and scarves and hats. But I’m just so bored of it all right now. So as the weather turned slightly less bitter and the sun started shining, I couldn’t wait to put away all of the more wintery items in my closet. So, this is going to be the last winter outfit on my blog for at least four months. Or we hope. Maybe the weather will turn horrible again. It’s only April after all.

I have really been digging suede this year. It’s been so popular in ever store, but I just couldn’t find the perfect suede skirt until I came across this one in Zara. I love the rusty orange colour. As I have said before on the blog, I have been obsessed with this colour lately. It was the perfect colour transition from Fall into Winter and now I have a feeling it will be the perfect colour going into Spring. I tucked a black turtleneck sweater into the skirt. This sweater actually has a bodysuit hem at the bottom so it stays perfectly tucked in all day!

For boots, I’m wearing an over the knee pair from Forever 21. I know that the whole‘thigh high’ boot thing has been huge this Winter but I was just so hesitant to get myself a pair. I thought I didn’t have long enough or skinny enough legs for this trend. But when I found this pair on sale for $15, I figured there was no harm trying them out! I love the gold plates on the heel! Metal detailing on boots is always so pretty!
