Lately, I have really been gravitating towards body care in addition to my love for skin care. I blame it all on my mom, she is always on the hunt for the next coolest body lotion. I recently got the chance to try a few of Vichy’s Ideal Body Care products and I was so excited to put them to the test! I have been a huge fan of Vichy’s face products for years (their acne line was one of the first I ever tried!), so I was super curious to see if their body products would match my expectations!
Vichy Ideal Body Milk-Serum (CAD$29.95)
Body serums are one of my new favorite beauty products. All of my life, I have hated the feeling of thick lotions and creams on my skin. They just make me feel sticky and gross. However, this Vichy Ideal Body Milk-Serum does just the opposite. It is so lightweight and provides continuous hydration all day long. It instantly sinks in the skin. In addition to providing 24 hour moisturization, this serum contains 10 fundamental oils, LHA, and Hyaluronic acid to harmonize skin tone and promote firmness and smoothness!
Vichy Replumping Lip Balm (CAD$15.00)
I am the self-titled queen of lip balms. There is nothing I love more than trying out a new lip balm. And it’s even more exciting when they actually work for my permanently dry and cracking lips. As soon as I applied this Vichy Replumping Lip Balm on my lips, I instantly felt something different that I hadn’t noticed in other lip balms. It has a very smooth, silicone-like texture to it. Usually, I absolutely despise that silky silicone feel. I would hate to have it on my lips. But something about this lip balm’s texture just works. It instantly melts into my lips, smoothing over all those dry, flaky patches. Don’t my lips just sound beautiful? And, not only does this lip balm provide comfort all day long, it also helps to plump up and beautify the lips. My lips look full and plump once I apply this lip balm!
Vichy Spa Shower Gel-Cream (CAD$16.95)
This Spa Shower Gel-Cream from Vichy is such a neat idea. I hate shower gels that tend to clean so well, they strip the body of any oils. This gel-cream contains shea butter and white clay to soften and hydrate the skin. On days when I’m feeling lazy, I can just apply this gel in the shower in 20 seconds and then skip body lotion for the day. It’s a real time saver! But for optimal hydration, this Spa Shower Gel-Cream compliments the Ideal Body Milk-Serum perfectly!
