A Pastel Walking Rainbow Kind of Outfit

This summer has been one of the most colourful season in years. Both emotionally and physically. I don’t think I have ever worn so much colour before. I think it has a great deal to do with working in the Beauty Boutique full time. All I ever wear is all-black and it has really taken a toll on my mood. So, on the rare occasions when I’m not working, I make sure to take full advantage of that and I wear as much colour as humanly possible. Actually, that’s a lie. I could wear so much more colour than this. But, I don’t want to be a walking rainbow. Or maybe I do, that sounds pretty great.

Today, I’m wearing this pale pink off-the-shoulder top from Boohoo. I recently talked about how much I love this style of neckline in one of my past outfit posts (check it out here) and I really meant it! I saw a shirt exactlylike this one in Topshop (here), but it was probably 4x more expensive. So the broke college student in me waited and I later found it’s twin online! I was so excited! I should have ordered a size down because it’s a little loose on the shoulders, but whatever, I still think it’s hella cute!

For bottoms, I’m wearing a pair of light wash Rockets from Citizens of Humanity. These are quickly becoming my go-to jeans this summer. I love how the faded pastel blue compliments all of my light coloured tops. I stacked on a bunch of gold jewelry for my accessories today, including my square rings from Bing Bang Jewelry and a couple of bangles. But, my earrings are definitely my favorite piece of jewelry that I’m wearing today. I found these stunning statement earrings at the J.Crew outlet and immediately knew they would go great with all my pastel tops! I was right! Duh.
