To say that I am not a fan of Alberta Winters would be putting it very lightly. I hate winter. I like Fall. I like Spring. But if we could skip over Winter, that would be very much appreciated. It’s just gets so dry and my skin, face and hair suffer because of it. And if anything ruins those three, you already know I’m not gonna be a fan of it. But, since I can’t get rid of Winter anytime soon, I’ve had to find other ways to protect myself from the dehydrating effects of the cold.
And oils are probably the easiest and most effective solution to this very taxing problem. I recently received these Moroccan argan oils fromAcure and I was shocked of all the benefits that they offer. They are rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and 9) and proteins that are able to penetrate the skin and hair shaft to deliver nutrients directly and quickly! And the best part is that not only do they nourish the skin on the face and body but they also repair skin damage and support hair growth for thick, voluminous hair!
So what are all the uses for these oils? I always love a product that I can use a billion different ways and these oils definitely fall into that category. If used on the body, they can restore texture, elasticity and tone, and also reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and imperfections. In addition, they make fantastic massage oils. They can also be used on the hand for cuticle repair and to soften hands as well as a soothing treatment for dry elbows and heels! But my favorite use for these oils is by far as a hair serum. I mix these oils in with a leave-in conditioner and my hair has never been softer! It seals in all the split ends and gives my hair a glossy shine! So basically, just bathe in these oils because they literally can fix every single thing on your body.
But, the best part about these is by far the scents. This gift set is PERFECT as a stocking stuffer. You can give someone the whole set or split up the scents as tiny little stocking stuffers for three of your pals. My favorite scent in the trio is the coconut. It’s beachy and and sweet and smells like pure, natural coconut. The citrus ginger is just like it’s name. Citrusy and orangey with a hint of lemon and ginger. The final scent is the rose argan oil. I have been obsessed with all things rose lately. But for those who aren’t the biggest fan, do not fear! This floral is more subdued and subtle. It’s definitely not an‘in-your-face’ kind of rose!
