I’ve talked about Paula’s Choice a whole lot over on the blog lately (in reality, only twice, but in my heart, way more), but they’ve quickly become a leading choice in my skincare routines. In those blog posts, I got to try out a whole variety of different products from basic oil-reducing cleansers and moisturizers to a few anti-aging products and my favorite, Niacinamide Booster. I have loved every single product I’ve tried, but today, I have a fun little mini trial kit to share with you!
So, there’s a total of two reasons why I’m pumped about this trial kit. First, I’m in the middle of Final Exam week and my skin has never hated me more. The stress just makes me breakout and it’s not fun y’all so I’m definitely welcoming a new, more intensive skincare routine. Second, I’m headed to Vegas in 6 (!) days and mini sizes of skincare is always a necessity! And these are the perfect travel companions. the toner even has a dual cap on it (inside the exterior cap, there’s a second little flap that securely clicks shut), so you can sure it won’t spill in your carryon which is so handy! So let’s move on to the actual skincare! This is the Resist Anti-Aging Trial Kit. Whoa, whoa, whoa, Taylor, did you say anti-aging? Damn right I did. I’m twenty one y’all. In 3 months I’ll be twenty two (cue the TSwift song now). There is no better than now to jump onto that Anti-Aging bandwagon. It’s called take preventative measures, ya hear? So anyways, this lil’ kit combats both wrinkles and breakouts with four anti-aging products specially formulated for normal to oily skin!
It includes the Resist Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser that preserves the skin’s protective barrier (aka it isn’t going to totally strip and dry out the skin) while removing any excess oil and makeup! Next is the Daily Pore Refining Treatment with 2% BHA and salicylic acid that I basically use as a toner to unplug pores and smooth the skin. The kit also includes two moisturizers. I like to use the Resist Youth-Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid during the day that has SPF 50 (!) and promotes visibly firmer skin while minimizes the appearance of pores and mattifying the skin. For night, I love the Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator that is a bit more hydrating than the day fluid and it also helps to fade those post-acne red marks which is always my favorite benefit in any product!
