I have extremely fond memories of Kérastase hair products. My mom has the nicest, smoothest, softest, envy-worthy hair and she has always taken incredible care of it. Because of that, I have definitely inherited her obsession of high end hair products. And one of the brands that has always been at the top of her list is Kérastase. Over the years, I have tried out a couple of their products when I’ve stolen them from my mom (shhhh, don’t tell her) and they’ve always lived up to their expectations. So, when I received a package from Kérastase, I couldn’t have been more excited. I felt like such an adult with such luxurious haircare. No more drugstore shampoos for me.
I received theKérastase PARIS Elixir Ultime Holiday Set that comes beautifully packaged in a while and gold box. I don’t know who wouldn’t want this sitting under their tree on Christmas morning. It’s truly taking haircare to the next level The Elixir Ultime range from Kérastase uses precious oils to deeply moisturize the hair while getting rid of any frizz and keeping the hair straight with added body and volume. Plus, it adds an incredible amount of shine to the hair. Basically, it takes care of any hair concern you might have. The collection is extremely universal, suited for people with colour-treated hair, damaged hair, fine hair or medium to thick hair.
The set includes the three most popular items in the range. First, there is the Sublime Cleansing Oil Shampoo. Because this is a cleansing oil made up of four different oils, it is incredibly softening and smoothing. The oil combination includes Pracaxi for resistance, Argan for protection, Camelia oil for shine and Maize for nutrition. However, because this is more of a cleansing oil shampoo, it won’t lather up as much as a cream shampoo. The second product in the set is the Beautifying Oil Masque that has definitely captured my heart. It is a rinse-out mask that concentrates on the damaged ends of your hair. Leave it on for five minutes and then rinse out and you hair will feel so much softer! It’s a great treatment. My favorite product of the whole set however is the Elixir Ultime Beautifying Hair Oil. This is an incredibly versatile oil for all hair types that you can apply either to wet or dry hair as a leave-in treatment. My hair has never felt softer and it’s so incredibly shiny. It’s truly a miracle product.
