I am a huge fan of NeoStrata skincare, if not their #1 fan. Yup, I’m that serious about their skincare. However, the thing with NeoStrata is that there’s a lot to talk about. Like most skincare products, there is a ton you need to know like the ingredients, formulation, application and of course, the results. Because of this, I will be splitting up my NeoStrata review into three parts: today’s Beauty Enhancers, next week’s Skincare Basics and the week after that will be all about Chemical Exfoliators and Radiance products!
NeoStrata is a Canadian company that is sold at my favorite store, Shoppers Drug Mart or if you prefer, London Drugs or Rexall. Their products are all dermatologist-tested and often have a higher than normal percentage of active ingredients, so you can be pretty positive that the products are going to be quite effective at their job. Today I’ll be sharing two of NeoStrata’s more exciting products, their beauty enhancers!
First is the Lash Enhancer Serum. I know what you might be thinking right now; I literally have the world’s longest eyelashes, why on earth would I need a lash serum?! But, my eyelashes have definitely not been on point lately. I don’t know what it is, but they aren’t long or voluminous or curled right now. We’re basically in the middle of an apocalypse. I’m blaming it on the cold, dry winter here in Alberta. Yet another reason why I need to move ASAP. So this Lash Enhancer Serum is formulated to provide a triple-action treatment that increases lash length, volume and strength (AKA everything I need right now), as well as prolonging the lifespan of the eyelash. This last point is especially important, because although your lashes might be long and thick right now (lucky you), mascara will never be the best for your lashes and the wear and tear it causes is never good. So it’s a super important benefit for me that the serum helps to fortify and prolong the longevity of the eyelashes! And one more super cool thing about the Lash Enhancer Serum? It’s not just for your lashes! You can also use it on sparse or brittle eyebrow hairs to help them grow!
Okay so voluminous lashes are all good and well, but do you know what’s even better? Voluminous lips so we can all be like Kylie Jenner. I’ve never been too interested in lip plumpers, but I’ve recently started loving carrying them around in my backpack or purse. They’re great for when you’re not wearing any lipstick or lip gloss and you can just quickly apply it for a bit of gloss and pumping action! But, out of all the lip plumpers I have tried, the NeoStrata Anti-Wrinkle Lip Enhancer is definitely up there as one of my favorites. The first thing and the best thing about it is the scent. It straight up smells like an orange Creamsicle. It’s so sweet and citrusy and if scent is enough to make you fall in love with a product, then I am definitely head over heels. But in addition to how it smells, the actually formula is amazing as well! Like any lip plumper, this Lip Enhancer is a bit tingling when you apply it but it definitely doesn’t sting or burn like some do! Plus, this Lip Enhancer is good for so many things other than just an immediate plumping and enhancing of your lip colour. It’s also a preventative and corrective treatment to repair thinning and discoloration of the lips, lack of definition and fine lines and wrinkles around the lip contour!
