I haven’t done a haircare post in sooooo long. It’s been two months. For a beauty blogger, that’s equivalent to, like, two years. I’m being sarcastic. Please ignore me. But anyways, today we (I?) will be talking all about OGX! Because I work at Shoppers Drug Mart, every time I walk down aisle 4, AKA the hair care aisle, I always see this brand and it’s really intrigued me because they have such an extensive product range. And yet, I’ve never given them a try. But that all changed today.
Extra Strength Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo
I love coconut. A lot. Side note: I just tried the best Toasted Coconut and Caramel Fudge ice cream(Did I seriously just link to an ice cream? I should be a food blogger). There was coconut chunks in it. That’s good shit right there. But this shampoo also smells like coconut. Maybe it would taste just like the ice cream. I’m not going to try it out, but you can. This is an ultra-rich shampoo with coconut oil and vanilla bean extract (okay seriously, just eat the shampoo) that helps to soften and revive strands while also strengthening them!
Frizz-Defy/Moisture + Shea Soft & Smooth Conditioner
This Shea Soft & Smooth range is brand new to OGX and not to disappoint, it also smells amazing. Not like coconuts like the previous shampoo, but more sweet and vanilla-y. This line is great for frizzy hair (which if you saw my natural hair, you’d definitely suggest I use this), with it’s intensely moisture-rich, creamy blend of shea butter, agave nectar and coconut oil. It also helps to smooth and soften coarse hair while leaving it with a healthy shiny glow! I can’t stop smelling this conditioner as I write this. It’s thatgood.
Anti-Gravity & Hydration + O2 Weightless Oil & Lifting Tonic Spray
Okay this is the real VIP of this whole post. I’ve never fallen in love with a hair product so quickly. I always love volumizing and hydrating products but I never thought I would find one that combined the two while also not making my hair greasy. It always seemed like an impossible feat. But, apparently it’s not. Because this Lifting Tonic is it. This weightless formula volumizes hair without weighing it down. And with a unique mix of hairspray and hydrating oil, this tonic provides subtle lift, slight hold, and shiny, touchable tresses. It’s honestly the perfect finishing spray on dry hair. But I also love to spray it into my hair while it’s damp as well for even more volume.
