Ain’t Nothing a Band-Aid Can’t Fix

Let’s take a moment to recall what I said at the end of my last OOTD post:“Except maybe minus the shoes. My blisters will have to heal a little first.” And yet here I am. Wearing the shoes. Without my blisters being healed first. You think I would learn from my mistakes and remember the horrific pain I was in last time I wore these shoes. But alas, they were just too cute to not wear. And no other shoes went with the outfit. Plus there ain’t nothing a band-aid can’t fix.♪I am stuck on Band-Aid brand ‘cause Band-Aid’s stuck on me.♫ (#nonspon but please sponsor me.)

So yes, I wore the shoes again even though they gave me mad blisters last time. They’re just supa supa cute. For the rest of my outfit, it was a lil’ windy so I opted for this duster jacket in a cute dusty (Duster? Dusty? Seems accurate) rose shade from Forever 21. It’s a great light fabric to just throw on when the weather is a little chilly this summer. However, the fabric of this duster absolutely sucks. It wrinkles like you wouldn’t believe. Every move you make, it creates a wrinkle. By the end of the day, this whole jacket is just one big wrinkle. It’s very high maintenance. But, then again, so am I.

What else do I have to say about this outfit? Not much to be honest. Only that I really appreciate the lack of snow on the ground and that I can now walk out of my house without 10 million layers on. So here’s hoping that this nice weather sticks around just a little longer. I feel like I’m jinxing it all by saying that. I’m knocking on wood as we speak.
