Lake Louise Livin’

I recently went on a trip to the mountains with my boyfriend (who was lovely enough to take these photos for me so huge shoutout to him) and it was a much needed break of rest and relaxation. HA. Just kidding. I wish I could have rested. But you know what I was doing? Hiking a mountain. And a hike might not seem like a big deal to most of you. But I don’t do physical activity. I mean, I used to dance but other than that, zero, zip, zilch, nada. Nothing. And yet, I climbed a mountain. And although my legs hated me for days after that, I didn’t totally hate it. Who knew?!

But don’t cha worry. I did not wear this outfit hiking. I’m not thatgirly. Instead, I just wore this outfit to the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and to walk around the lake and then later changed into a more appropriate outfit for hiking (AKA leggings and a flannel, I’m sporty). But we ain’t talking about my hiking outfit today because it was so not worthy for ze blog so let’s move on with this outfit. I just got this trench coat from Aritzia a couple weeks ago when it was on super sale- we’re talking 50%off here and it might just be my favorite jacket ever. I can’t stop wearing it. It matches all of my spring pieces. It’s also super lightweight so it’s not too heavy for these warmer months. Plus I loooove the colour. It looks a lil’ different on the website, but in person it’s the most gorgeous light grey-taupe. It’s absolutely perfect. I would recommend it to everyone (I’m wearing the size XXS for reference).

Underneath my jacket, I’m wearing my second favorite item from Aritzia. My friend, Vanessa, has been talking about the Cohen pants for the longest time. She LIVES in them. I seriously have never seen her in anything else (except Citizens Rocketsof course) so after hearing about them for ages, I finally decided that it was time I invested in a pair as well. I got them in the Denude colour which is a beautiful pinky-nude shade. Once again, the colour just perfectly compliments all my other spring pieces. Plus they’re surprisingly easy to dress down even though they’re technically“dress pants”. And they’re super comfy. I just have to be extra careful not to drop any food on them because I’m a major klutz.

And last but not least, I’m wearing my FAVORITE shoes ever. I have worn these shoes in almost every outfit this spring since I got them and I’m definitely not stopping anytime soon. I really wish I had of picked these up in black at the time because I can not find them in any Forever 21 store or online since I originally saw them. I’m v sad. If you ever see the black pair in a size 7, mail them to me immediately. Much appreciated.
