Clarins Blush Prodige

Oh Clarins, how I love you. So I’ve had these photos sitting on my computer for quite some time and I just never got around to writing a blog post about them. But, as I’m in a blogging slump currently because I just started school, I felt there was no better time than now to talk about the world’s prettiest blush. (And because I’ve been slacking on taking new product photos #bloggerproblems).

This is the Clarins Blush Prodige, an illuminating cheek colour, in the shade #05 Rosewood. It definitely isn’t any average blush however. The Clarins blushes are made up of a trio of shades that blend flawlessly together to create the perfect flush on your cheeks. This shade, Rosewood, is a beautiful taupey-pink that literally looks different in every single lighting, as you can tell by the variation of colour in the photos above! The lighter pink shimmer blocks in the blush add the perfect amount of glow to your cheeks while you can also apply them individually as almost a highlighter! This shade is a tiny bit on the darker side so it’s definitely better for me when I have more of a tan because y’all know how pale I usually am. But overall, it’s just a really great shade. The compact is also gorgeous, housed in a shiny gold case complete with a mirror and a mini brush. But to be honest, who actually uses these brushes? They’re a lil’ useless, wouldn’t you say?

Okay, honestly, I keep trying to search for things to say about this blush, but there’s not a whole lot you can say about blushes. Yes, it’s a great blush. Yes, it looks beautiful on the cheeks. Yes, it’s a flattering shade. That’s about it. Clarins never disappoints.
