Spring, Come To Me

I know this jacket was just on the blog (aka three weeks ago), but it’s all I’ve been wearing lately. So, it only felt right to feature it on the blog again. And in all honestly, you will probably be seeing it back here again in two weeks. But what can I say? It’s just a really good coat. It’s super duper warm and cozy but it looks so chic at the same time. It’s fits right in with those trendy“teddy bear coats” I’ve been seeing everywhere. I just want to be trendy okay.

However, it’s FINALLY feeling like spring again around here so I’m hoping I won’t have too many more opportunities to wear this coat this year. I have really been craving spring and summer lately. All I want is to be tanned (with the help of self tanner of course) and wear shorts and skirts and dresses without a parka overtop. That’s living the dream y’all.

So as I was picking out what to wear today, I noticed this Marc Jacobs scarf hanging in the corner of my room. My besties got this scarf for me a couple of years ago for my birthday and it was my staple scarf. I wore it everywhere. But somewhere along the way, I forgot about it. (How could you even forget about a scarf this beautiful?! I don’t know, folks). But I am now pledging to never forget about it again and wear it every. single. day. Challenge accepted.

I also changed up my normal look with some new jeans from Citizens of Humanity. I know that 9/10 times I’m wearing skinny jeans but I’ve really started to enjoy these straight-leg (or boyfriend) jeans more and more. These are the Liya style and I already own them in a light wash shade (see blog post here) but I’ve been dying to get them in a darker wash! These are in theShangri-La shade with some light distressing and rips on the knees. They’re super super cute and I can’t wait to wear them with mules and loafers in the spring. Spring, please come to me. Please. Now.
