You either hate or love the“Baker Boy” hat trend (otherwise known as train conductor hats or newsboy hats). And if you hate it, I totally understand. I feel ya. I really do. I used to hate it too. But then I started seeing all my favorite Instagrammers and Youtubers wearing them and I got sucked right in. They just seemed to complete every outfit perfectly. You can wear them with a wool peacoat. You can wear them with a leather jacket. You can wear them with a summer dress. They go with everything. How is that even possible? Hence, I knew I needed one.
But what I soon discovered is that I have a tiny ass head and Baker Boy hats do not look good on little heads. You need, like, a rounder face for them, I guess. But I persevered. I really did. I kept searching for one that might compliment my miniature head. And then, for my 23rd birthday, my friends found me this one. And even though it is still slightlytoo big for me, it kinda works. But let’s just see how long this trend will last (I’ll give it until the end of this year).
So it’s April and it’s stillsnowing. To say I’m mad about it would be a huge understatement. I just want sunshine and spring. I want to go outside without shivering. I want to walk in the park without Uggs and a parka on. But I guess you just can’t have everything in life. So to be a tad bit warmer today, I’m wearing a corduroy moto-style jacket from Noul overtop of this longline blouse from Topshop. And funny story about this shirt. I picked it up a couple years ago without really paying much attention to the label. However, I came across it again online while I was browsing the site one day and it said maternity blouse. So, yeah one of my favorite shirts is actually meant for a pregnant lady. How embarrassing. I still dig it though.
