I know. I know. This jumpsuit has already been on ze blog. I wore it to my university graduation (post here) which, by the way, is still surreal that I actually graduated. The first day of school has come and gone and I did not attend. It felt like I was skipping class. But nope. I’m just a graduated gal. Regardless of all that, this jumpsuit is way too beautiful to only be worn once so here it is again. But also we can’t talk about repeating an outfit without referencing the infamous Lizzie Mcguire quote: “LIZZIE MCGUIRE. YOU are an outfit repeater”.
So this is the Écoulement Jumpsuit from Aritzia and it’s possibly my favorite thing in my closet right now. Not only is it extremely comfy (except when you have to pee and it’s a struggle to get off) but it’s also an extremely versatile piece. I dressed it up on my graduation day with some dressy sandals and a clutch but I was also able to easily convert it into more of a day look today.
I feel like every time I try to“dress down” an outfit, it just involves throwing this huge, oversized blanket-like cardigan overtop and calling it a day. But it’s seriously foolproof. (Take this #ootd for example). Plus the weather is rapidly changing from summer to fall so I desperately needed this sweater for extra warmth. It’s already sweater weather and I have very mixed feelings about it. On one hand I can start to wear all my cute fall outfits again but on the other side, I’m just not ready to be permanently cold all the time. I keep thinking about all that snow and I start to cry. I shivered just now thinking about it.
In addition to this blanket I call a sweater, I also added my favorite mules from Forever 21. These mules are my ride or die and there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t regret picking up the black colour in these as well. And these earrings!! My oh my do I love these earrings! I found them at this super cute store in Mexico that I can’t remember the name of. Okay scratch that. I just went on Google Maps and searched my hotel and then followed the pathway to the shopping mall and clicked on every store until I found the correct name. If that’s not dedication for ze blog, I don’t know what is. Anyways, the store where I got these earrings is called Studio F and they had the cutest earrings I have ever seen! I totally regret not picking up more pairs.
