Review Time!
I have been wanting to try the Clarisonic for a very long time so I was extremely excited to get one. I have had the worst skin since sixth grade and it has been horrible. Although some products have helped my acne a little bit, nothing has ever worked for a long term period, except for this.
So, I tried the pink Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System. The only differences between the Mia and the Regular Clarisonic is that the Mia is very good for on the go with it’s one speed and it’s smaller system. The Clarisonic Mia oscillates back and forth for 60 seconds at a sonic frequency that produces over 300 movements per second that works deeply, but still very gently, to remove both dirt, oil and makeup from your skin so that other skincare products absorb better. Results include: Six times more makeup removed, reduced appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles, oily areas, dry skin, and blemishes, and improved skin tone.
My thoughts: At first, I was extremely skeptical at whether this would work or not for my skin. But from the first night I tried it, I already saw differences. My skin had never felt so clean, it felt like my skin was breathing! Also, my face was extremely soft, which made it easier to apply my makeup the next morning. The first week, I had many new breakouts, which is apparently very normal as the Clarisonic is just cleansing your skin of all that bacteria. After the first week, my breakouts began to dissapear and lessen. Although I still get breakouts, theres not as many and they aren’t as big and dissapear quickly. Also, my skin look so much more healthy. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product. It really is the only thing that has made a noticeable difference in my skin. The only downside to this product is the price. At a suggested retail price of $189 CAD, it is quite pricey. But I highly recommend investing in this, you won’t regret it!
You can find this at Sephora and Holt Renfrew in Canada.
