  • Makeup Bag Favorites: Winter Edition

Stila Stay All Day Beauty Balm (get it here): I love to layer this bb cream under my regular foundation to add a bit of moisture and protection from the harsh winter air. It also adds a bit more coverage and color for more flawless skin.

Elizabeth Arden– Plum Perfection (get it here): For my more casual winter days, I love using this blush. It is a pinky mauve color that looks so natural. This formula applies so smoothly and is easily blended into your cheekbones.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow- Money Money: I think metallic deep greens practically scream winter so I love using this gorgeous forest green to line my eyes and add a very subtle wash of color. It’s a nice change from my ordinary black liner.

Starlooks Eyeshadow- Disarray: I feel like navy is one of the most universal shades ever. It’s so much less harsh than black but adds the same definition and impact. This can be used to line your eyes or blended out in the crease for a more smokey look.

Lancome Doll Lashes Mascara (get it here):This has been one of my favorite mascaras for quite a while now. It gives the perfect amount of both volume and length without any added clumps. It creates beautiful lashes every time!

Smashbox Soft Effects Powder- Aubergine (get it here):You might not guess it but this eyeliner is actually powder, not liquid. I love the powder effect of it, it gives a soft smoky look instead of the more precise line a liquid liner might give. I love the color of this as well, it’s great at making green eyes pop!

Elizabeth Arden Lipstick- Wild Winterberry (get it here): I strongly believe everyone needs a deep red lipstick for the upcoming holidays and this lipstick is a perfect example of that. This lipsticks immediately dresses up any look and boldly announces that winter has arrived!

Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter (get it here):This lip butter gives your lips the same glow that a whole day of skiing outside in the crisp cold air might give them. It adds a beautiful flush of color and brightens up your face, plus it hydrates them at the same time!

Fresh Sugar Lip Polish (get it here):I think I have the driest lips in the world and they definitely don’t improve once Winter approaches. That’s why this lip scrub is my saviour. The brown sugar and shea butter exfoliates while moisturizing, leaving the lips smooth and radiant.
