I feel like my style has been changing to match my new hair lately. (Yes, I got a haircut, goodbye 8 inches! Check it out here.) I really like this outfit that I am wearing. It’s basically a combination of all of my favorite pieces so what’s not to love?
Let’s talk about this super cute tee first. It’s from a company based out of San Francisco with a bunch of really cool t shirt designs. I absolutely love my shirt. For those of you who don’t know, I have a complete obsession with dinosaurs so this shirt with a picture of a dinosaur with the words “They’ll Never Find Us” was kinda perfect for me. To dress up the t shirt a bit, I added a longer, flowy tank top underneath to emphasis the layering look.
I then threw on a long blue cardigan (from my friend Vanessa, hey girl) to add some more color in the outfit. For pants, I wore my leggings from Zara. These leggings are amazing. They are nothing like the ones from Victoria’s Secret or Lululemon. They are extremely thick and mine even have nice gold zippers for pockets.
One of my favorite parts about this outfit is my scarf. If you saw my 2014 Style Wishlist, you would know that I’ve been searching for a plaid/flannel/checkered scarf for forever but I could never find the right one. Then, a few weeks ago, I spotted this one at Aritzia for 50% off, score! Everything about it is perfect and I’m pretty sure I’ve worn in for like a week straight. Oops.
For finishing touches, I added a pair of geometric earrings from Noul (formerly Loft 82). Funny story about these earrings. These earrings have been in Noul for quite some time (we’re talking like six months) but I never gave them a second look. They went on sale for $5 so I considered giving them a chance, I’m so glad I did because I think they work perfectly with this outfit! My other jewelry includes my Marc Jacobs watch, this awesome spiky chevron-bead bracelet, and my Pandora bracelet.
