  • I think it should become a tradition that every summer, I get a new vest that will become my staple piece for the whole season. Last summer I got my Noul leather vest that I wore to death. (See here, here, here). And now, this summer, I recently picked up this vest from Boohoo. It’s the perfect vest. I can dress it up, I can dress it down, I can dress it sideways. Sorry, I’m not funny. It’s a nude colour with a belted waist that I usually just tie in the back. At first, I was hesitant about the colour. I wasn’t sure if I could find enough things to compliment the shade. However, I just absolutely love the way it looks with white. So Springy.

And now, let’s just take a moment to listen to me gush about just how much I love Boohoo. Boohoo is an online clothing store and they are my most recent obsession. And no, I’m not being paid to say this. But hey, Boohoo, if y’all are reading this, hit me up! I wouldn’t say no to working with you. But anyways, back to my obsession. They are an European brand that have the cutest clothing. Like seriously, I have found so many lovely items on the site and you’ll be sure to see a bunch in upcoming blog posts! And the best part of it all? Boohoo is constantly having great deals like 30% or sometimes even 40% off your entire purchase! How awesome is that? But wait there’s more! I never like to order outside of Canada because I can’t stand paying for customs and duties, let alone shipping. Boohoo solved all my issues! They pay all the customs and duties and shipping! So all you have to pay is the price of the clothing. It’s my dream come true.

The t-shirt that I’m wearing is also from Boohoo. It’s a peplum style top that looked more white than cream on the website. Oh well, I’m not complaining it’s still cute. For pants, I wore my new jeans from Old Navy. I’ve been looking for a white pair of denim ever since the warmer weather started to hit. I wanted something simple (not like my distressed pair of white denim). These are the rockstar skinnies from Old Navy and I was so surprised at how perfect they are! They have a good amount of stretch to them so they’re not too tight. White jeans can be incredibly unflattering so you have to be careful about that. They’re also not see-through so I can wear my bright pair of underwear and not have to worry about a thing. Well, actually I think they would be see-through if I did that. I’ll just stick to my neutrals with these ones.

And oh my God, can we talk about my purse for a second? This purse is my whole life. I have been eyeing it down at Shoppers for the longest time. And when a customer almost bought it, I knew I had to make up my mind quickly. So, I bought it. It’s a dark caramel leather with black and cobalt blue details for a pop of colour. It goes with every outfit. Plus, it’s a really good size. Most of my bags are smaller cross-bodies and I wanted something big enough to fit my agenda and a bottle of water for work. I just wish it had silver accents instead of the gold but whatever. Beggars can’t be choosers. (That’s one of my favorite sayings.)
