Today I am bringing you another post all about Essence Cosmetics. If you didn’t see my last one, check it out here! The more and more I test out of Essence, the more I start to love the brand! Today, I will be talking about the Lash Princess Volume Mascara, the How to Make Smokey Eyes Makeup Box, and the Smokey 2 in 1 Khôl liner, aka everything you need in order to create the perfect smokey eye!

First, I need to rave about this mascara! This is one of the best mascaras I have tried in a long time! I was so hesitant to try it at first because it isn’t like the typical mascaras that I usually reach for. I usually like a more wet formula, with a spikey silicone wand. However, this mascara has a more dry, powdery consistency with a curved bristly brush. As I was applying this mascara for the first time, I was so shocked to see that it made my lashes so long! This mascara is supposed to be all about volume but I definitely see more length than volume which I’m not sad about at all! I always love a lengthening mascara. In addition, the wand fans out my lashes so nicely and the curved brush helps to curl my lashes as well. As a result, this mascara accentuates my eyelashes so much that they almost appear to be fake! I can’t even begin to count how many times customers at work asked me if I was wearing false eye lashes! That’s always my favorite thing!

Next is the‘How to Make Smokey Eyes’ Makeup Box. Essence recently launched quite a few of these makeup boxes (including a gorgeous nude eyes one) and they’re such a nice, affordable palette! This Smokey Eyes one comes with six shadows, a dual ended applicator and instructions for creating four gorgeous smokey looks! This is the foolproof way for someone who might not know a great deal about makeup to apply the perfect eye look! It’s such a great idea! Plus the shadows in here are absolutely gorgeous! I have been obsessed with Dressed Up and Shine Bright!

Lastly is the Smokey 2 in 1 Khôl Kajal Liner. I am usually not the biggest fan of Kajal liners because I don’t reach for black eyeliners on a regular basis. I am so pale and fair so they tend not to look the best on me. However this one is absolutely gorgeous. The formula is so creamy and glides on smoothly. It’s such a blendable consistency so it can also double as an eyeshadow in addition to an eyeliner hence the‘2 in 1′ name.

It’s always so surprising to me how affordable Essence Cosmetics is when you consider how great the products are compared to their prices! Every product I try, I love the brand more and more and I have yet to be disappointed with one of their products! I still have 2 more post featuring Essence Cosmetics to go up on the blog so stay tuned for those!
