  • Don’t Forget To Look Back

I have done it. I have finally finished my third year of university. Isn’t that crazy? I will be a fourth year student next year. I remember writing about finishing high school on this blog four three years ago. And now, in a couple of years, I will be writing about finishing university. Time flies when you’re having fun. Just kidding, this year has been tons of fun. It’s been one of the most stressful and challenging years of my life, but I came out of it with not one, but two A+’s.I remember struggling so much in first year and it seemed like getting greater than 95% in a subject would be something I would never be able to achieve. And yet, here am I with my highest GPA yet. The fact that I got 100% on my Accounting Final still blows me away. I think I’ve finally proven to myself that I really can achieve something if I put my mind to it.

But anyways, enough bragging about my grades. I really don’t mean to, but I never thought this would be possible so I just get a little carried away! But on to the outfit! This whole outfit centers around my sneakers today. My brother got me the white Nike Juvenates that I have been drooling over forever! They are so comfy and perfect! I have been trying to hard to keep them white, but it has definitely been a challenge! It didn’t help that the first day I wore them outside, me and Brent went for a walk in the muddy River Valley. These should be strictly indoor shoes but whatever, I gotta live a little.

For a good chunk of my life, I have been looking for the perfect white t-shirt. It is so much easier said than done. You would think any store would have basic t-shirts but there is always something wrong with them. Either they’re see-through and incredibly sheer or they’re too baggy or too tight. I was having such a problem finding one that didn’t look horrible on me. I finally came across this one at Zara. It was 10 bucks so I figured it would be a good placeholder until I found the ultimate perfect one. It’s nice, but it’s still not the one. If anyone knows where I could find a better one, let me know! I’m desperate.

For the bottom half of my outfit, I am wearing these floral black and white pants from Aeropostale. I should have sized down because they’re getting pretty baggy but I love the print on these! I think they compliment my sneakers so nicely. Because summer is technically still not here, I threw a trench-style jacket over top for a tiny bit of warmth and a barrier from the wind. (Perfect kite flying weather, hey Brent?)
