  • Paula’s Choice Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster (and get $10 off your order!)

For so long, all my skincare was directed towards one synonymous goal: clearing up my skin. But now that I have finally begun to achieve that with the help of Paula’s Choice skincare (read about the other products I use here), I can now start to focus on other things I would like to change about my skin. It’s funny. Back when I was dealing with horrible acne, I always thought that ifI could ever get my skin to clear up, I would be happy with my skin and never need to fix anything else. But that’s definitely not the case. Now I see all the other imperfections in my skin as well. It’s so fun being a girl. Actually, it’s so fun being a person in general. I have been starting to notice more and more pores as I notice less and less pimples. In addition, now that I am the ripe age of 21, that means aging skin is coming. It is recommended you start using preventive anti-aging products once you hit your twenties. Before I worked in cosmetics, I thought I wouldn’t have to worry about aging skin for another twenty years but boy, was I wrong.

I have been trying out the Paula’s Choice Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster for a couple of weeks now and surprisingly, I have been feeling a lot better about my skin. Niacinamide is a really cool form of vitamin B3 that can shrink pore size and even reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The first thing I noticed about this booster was the texture. I hate putting heavy, sticky things on my face. I love lightweight serums and creams so this product couldn’t be more up my alley. It literally feels like water. It’s such a thin, non-sticky liquid that immediately sinks into my skin and pores, letting me forget that I even put it on. But, for those of you who like to skip a couple of skincare steps, this is also a great product to mix in 2-3 drops with your favorite moisturizer or serum. I love to dispense a few drops in with my Paula’s ChoiceUltra-Sheer Daily Defense SPF 30 lotion. But, always be sure to layer this with a sunscreen as well during the daytime to keep those harmful sun rays away!

With a lot of products that supposedly help to reduce pore size, I rarely notice a difference. But with this Niacinamide Booster, not only do I see smaller pores, but my skin is more smooth. Before using this product, I had weird little bumps scattered on my cheeks, probably from a build-up of oil and blocked pores. However, this booster almost immediately fixed this problem and I’ve really noticed a improvement with skin texture. My face is now so much more smooth! It has definitely become a staple in my skincare routine. This year also marks Paula’s Choice 21st anniversary so in celebration, there is free shipping on any order! I can never say no to free shipping. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s paying extra just to get the products to my door!
