  • Benefit Brows

I had the pleasure of attending a Benefit Brow Launch Training for work the other night and I am so excited to share with you a sneak peek of the their new brow collection! I’m sure you’ve seen all the hype all over social media and are wondering just how amazing Benefit’s new products really are. I know I was. And spoiler alert: I am so not disappointed!

I received four products to test out, but because I have way too much to say, I’ll be doing two blog posts over the next week. In today’s post, we will be covering my thoughts on Benefit’s Ka-Brow Cream Gel Colour and Browvo Conditioning Primer. Stay tuned for my review on the rest of the products, Gimme Brow Fibre Gel and Goof Proof Brow Pencil in the following days.

    Ka-Brow! Cream-Gel Colour

We are starting with my favorite product first. Well, that’s a lie. I guess you could say they’re all my favorite for different reasons. But this one, I was blown away with. The Ka-Brow! is a gel product that brushes effortlessly onto the brow. It’s extremely natural looking. Usually, I shy away from products like these because I am so scared of having an overly defined brow (it’s just not a look I enjoy on me), but if you do prefer a stronger, dramatic brow, you can definitely achieve that with this product as well!

I was a bit intimidated to use Ka-Brow! at first. I have always been a basic brow pencil type of gal. The thought of painting on this product seemed too artsy for me to handle, but boy was I surprised! The product went on so easily and naturally and I don’t think my brows have ever looked better. I just did tiny little strokes across the brow to achieve a full and defined look.

There are a couple of things about this product that I especially love. First, this product is available in six shades ranging from #1 to #6 so it’s super easy to find your perfect shade. I wear #2, I would describe it as a dark taupe. The ladies at the event wanted me to try the #3, but I always prefer my brows to be a little less dark, so I found the #2 to be perfection!

This formula is also waterproof and has 24-hour wear which is especially essential in these summer months. You don’t have to worry about your brows sliding off in the hot and humid weather. But my ultimate favorite thing about Ka-Brow! is the applicator. I always hated the thought of other gel products because I needed to have a brush as well. However, this one includes a built-in brush that you just have to pull out from the cap, making it the ultimate travel brow product! You will never have to worry about forgetting a brush! Plus the brush is super nice, with very thin bristles that help apply the gel perfectly.

    Browvo! Conditioning Primer

Have you ever heard of a Brow primer? I definitely hadn’t until I found out about this Benefit one. It never seemed like a product I would need, but now that I’ve tried it, I definitely couldn’t imagine doing my brows without it. (I’ve tested it out for a total of two days, I’m being a little dramatic). But this Browvo! primer does so much more than you would think!

First, Browvo! conditions the brows so they instantly look fuller, thicker and healthier. I love wearing mine to sleep at night and waking up with better brows! In addition to conditioning and smoothing your brows, this primer also primes! What a surprise! It enhances any other brow colour and helps to make it last all day! The clear gel with the help of the custom applicator helps to evenly coat brow hair and skin and primes it for additional brow products. I absolutely love the way the applicator’s bristles feel on my eyebrows. It’s almost like they’re giving my brows little mini massages as I glide it across them. Is that weird? Probably. But don’t knock it till you try it.

Stay tuned for my next blog post on the rest of the new Benefit Brow Products. These are all available globally June 24th so make sure to run to your favorite Shoppers Drug Mart (aka the one I work at) at 8am that day to see the collection in person!
