  • Winter Makeup Favorites

It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of my‘makeup favorites’ post (check out my Fall and Spring Makeup Faves), but I have been having so much fun doing my makeup lately and a huge part to do with that is because there has been so many products that I’ve been loving lately. Wow, that was a very long run-on sentence. Good job, Taylor. Can you write? Nope. But you know what I can do? Apply makeup. Wait, no, you’re wrong about that too. Are you even qualified to have a blog? Probably not! Regardless, here are my makeup products that I’ve been reaching for day after day all Winter long!

Guerlain Météorites Pearls (#02 Clair) I don’t know why I have such a love-hate relationship with these lil’ powder pearls. Maybe it’s the fact that they’re $76 but I rarely see a difference on my face when I use them.Yup, that’s definitely the reason. However, that doesn’t stop me from using these pearls as a highlight/setting powder underneath my eyes every. single. day. So they must be somewhat good, right?

Chanel Lip Gloss(#86) I have been trying my hardest to get back into liking lip gloss. Actually, I’ve never liked lipglosses to begin with, but it’s never too late to start. This one is especially pretty over lipsticks because it’s so sheer, but it adds a really pretty sparkly. Plus, it’s a thin texture so it doesn’t get all thick and gloopy on my lips!

Dior Lip GlowThis has always been a classic basic lip product because it adds the perfect amount of pink tint to your lips without looking like you’re trying to hard. So I’m finally starting to reach for this product again after 4 years of having it. It’s about time.

Quo Back to Basics Eyeshadow (Sand) It’s honestly such a surprise that this eyeshadow stilldoesn’t have a dent in it even though I’ve probably used it at leastonce a week for a whole year now. It’s such a staple shadow and formula is fantastic! I really want to get the rest of the shades in the Quo Back to Basic Eyeshadow collection!

Joe Fresh Blush (Hydrangea) I don’t know what it is about Joe Fresh blushes, but they sure got the formulation right with these. For only $6 ($8?), they’re really reallygood. The pigmentation is amazing and they blend out so nicely. Plus the shade of this one is blue toned enough to be flattering while still being a nice true pinkish plum. This colour seriously matches every makeup look. If I don’t know what blush would look good, this is always my backup shade!

Chanel Chance Eau TendreI’m slowly starting to get back into perfumes again. For a while there, I was just too overwhelmed by my collection of fragrances, so my solution was just to wear none instead of having to pick between them. Makes sense, right? Eau Tendre is truly a special fragrance though. It’s sweet and fruity with just a touch of floral notes and a light freshness about it. Every single person loves this scent. I’ve never met a person who didn’t like it. True story.

So those are my favorites for the cold winter season! They all pair so well together. What makeup products have you been loving this Winter? Let me know in the comments down below!
