Y’all already know what I’m going to say. It’s the end of April. Three days until May/ There should not be snow. But yet, this is what Edmonton currently looks like. To say I’m not pleased would be the largest understatement of my life. But aside from the weather this past month, you know what else sucked? My final exams. I hate Finals week but we’ve finally made it through it (and hopefully with a 4.0 following suit). But in celebration of finals being done, I thought I would show you one of my favorite outfits to wear while studying (and suffering) through exam week.
However, although this outfit is incredibly comfy, I have to admit I do look a lil’ homeless. Like what is my hair doing? I took the messy bun to a whole new level I guess. But, enough on my hair. Back to the outfit. Layering is the main key to dressing comfy for studying. Throughout studying, I get hot and then cold and then hot and then cold. It’s a rollercoaster of temperatures. But layering helps with regulating all that. You can put on layers and take em’ off. It’s absolutely essential.
So let’s discuss the layers I’m wearing today. (Yeah, Taylor, let’s!) The first is my long plaid flannel (is saying plaid flannel redundant? Probably). This is probably one of my favorite items to study in. It’s so long and cozy, but it’s still lightweight so you won’t get too hot and stuffy in it. Then, overtop I added my favorite leather jacket. I’ve been living in this thing. It’s an essential. For added warmth, I wore my favorite black scarf that my bestie, Kevin, got me for my birthday. I’m absolutely obsessed with this guy (LUV U KEVS) and he bought the exact same scarf for himself as well so we have matching scarves. I’m pretty darn happy about it.
