  • Spring Beauty Favorites

It’s spring so you know what that means? I have a whole new batch of makeup products that are perfect for this season and that I have been absolutely loving wearing lately! As you read through these mini reviews, you may notice a common theme. It’s all about that glowy, fresh look that just screams spring.

Real Techniques Eye Shade & Blend Duo*

I think Real Techniques brushes are absolutely amazing for the price and this set is no exception. This duo comes with a flat Shadow Brush that is perfect for applying shadow all over the lid. I absolutely love that the tip is a bit more fluffy than most shader brushes so I can really blend the shadow out at the edge of the eye. The second brush is a crease brush that is quite oversized, making it a perfect brush to blend everything out with. Both are so soft and great quality. They really are the best brushes.

    Buxom Lip Pencil(Confidential)* +Dior Fluid Stick(#239)

This has been my absolute favorite lip combo lately. For years I have been searching for the perfect peachy-coral lip shade and I’ve finally found it with these two. First, I line and fill in my lips with the Buxom Lip Pencil (full review here) in the shade Confidential that is so pigmented and creamy. I then use the brush on the other end to blend it all out and apply the Dior Fluid Stick over top to give my lips a bit more gloss. These two pair so well together.

    Teeez Cream Blush(Flirty Pink)*

So, as I said in my review previously about this blush (read here), this is the blush that made me stop hating cream blushes. That’s pretty amazing. And throughout the whole month of March and into April, I’ve been layering this cream blush under all of my powder blushes. It makes the perfect base and gives me that glowy look that we all seem to be craving.

    MUD blush (Glow)*

I’m just so happy to have this blush in my life. It’s the exact shade I’ve always dreamed of. With the lip products that I mentioned above, this blush is a perfect shade to compliment the nude peachy lips. It’s a bit of a darker coral but it has gold shimmer in it to really warm up the face and yes, you guessed it, give me that glow (full review here).

    Shiseido Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother*

This is a really neat product that has made it’s way into my purse as the perfect touchup product. It’s a silky liquid that you can apply overtop of your makeup throughout the day to take away any shine and minimize pores. And yes, I know, that might sound a little contradictory as I’ve been emphasizing how much of a glowy look I want throughout this post. However, there is nothing that annoys me more than a bit of shine on the center of my forehead and around my nostrils, so this product definitely takes care of all that.

    EcoTools Mini Detail Blender Sponge*

I have always been a fan of Beauty Blender dupes because there is no way I’m about to spend $30 on a sponge that’s going to collect bacteria so I’ll have to throw it away in a month. This EcoTools sponge actually comes in a set of two with a larger one as well but it was dirty so I couldn’t include it in the photographs. It would ruin my aesthetic y’know? This one is super soft and it’s mini size makes it the perfect product for applying the Teeez Cream Blush mentioned above or baking with loose powder underneath my eyes.
