  • No, I don’t only wear an outfit once

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is if I ever wear an outfit twice. I don’t know why everyone thinks I never repeat an outfit, but I am CONSTANTLY re-wearing items. I promise! This outfit is exact proof of that. Throughout the month, I have probably worn this EXACT outfit five times. That’s how much I love it.

It’s all because of the jacket. I picked this jacket up from Zara last year during their semi-annual sale and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever loved a clothing item more. This is definitely one that’s gonna stick with me for years. It goes with everything, yet the embroidered sleeves give it that unique, fun flair. And funny (not funny, more awkward) story about this jacket. I was wearing this exact outfit on the train (see, I wasn’t lying) and this girl sitting across from me kept touching my knee. We were seated pretty close so I kept thinking it was just an accidental hit and so I kept on ignoring her. But, after like the tenth time, it turns out she was trying to get my attention so I took out my earbuds and she just wanted to know where I got my jacket. So girl, if you’re reading this, I’m so sorry and I swear I’m not as bitchy as I come off half the time. I’m just awkward. But long story short, it’s a great jacket.

I always love to wear rust colours with this jacket because it pairs so well with the fringe on the sleeves (and because I just love to wear rust in general). So I layered this rusty orange turtleneck sweater underneath. It’s actually a sleeveless sweater which is the PERFECT item to wear in this kind of weather. It keeps your torso relatively warm while saving you from overheating and sweating buckets throughout the day. Cute, right?

For jeans, I’m wearing this pair from Old Navy that I featured in a previous #OOTD. I just love these jeans. They’re amazing quality (honestly, Old Navy should win an award for the comeback they’ve made) and I just love the cropped and frayed hems. The ends are absolutely perfect for pairing with these brown suede boots from Forever 21. I just love how the cutout detailing accents the frayed edges of my jeans. They work well together. Partners in crime.
