  • Aloette Skincare & Makeup

I’m a big fan of aloe vera. So, when Aloette wanted to send me a couple of products that all contained aloe vera, I was definitely excited to put them to the test.Aloe vera is the cornerstone ingredient behind all of the Aloette products to help meet their goal of keeping skin nourished and refreshed. But it’s not just any ordinary aloe vera, instead, Aloette’s Aloeganic aloe vera is ten times the potency of conventional aloe vera to create the optimal, penetrating delivery system in all of their products!

I got to try out a few of both their makeup and skincare items! The first is definitely my favorite and I can’t wait to tell y’all about it. It’s the Oil Slicks Lips Age-Defying Lip Treatment and it’s everything I’ve been wanting in my life. The formula is a super nourishing oil made withAvocado, safflower seed, aloe vera and vitamin E. Even though it is an oil, it isn’t too heavy on the lips and absorbs quickly on the lips so you can wear it alone or layer a lipstick on top. Plus the formula is super glossy so it makes your lips look shiny and smooth! But my favorite part about this lip oil is definitely the applicator. It’s a metal massage applicator that is super cooling and soothing on the lips. It’s amazing for dry, chapped lips! But that’s not all.Clinical studies show that the peptide Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 increases lip volume by 40%, lip hydration by 60% and reduces the appearance of lip wrinkles by 29% within 29 days! So not only does this oil help moisturize your lips but it also takes care of the anti-aging side of things!

The next product is the Intensity Stretch Mascara. Again, I was super impressed by this one. As you have probably noticed, I am incredibly specific about which mascaras I like and often I’m more disappointed than impressed by the majority of them. However, that was not the case with this one. At first glance, the brush did not seem like something I would like and I assumed clumpy lashes would be te result of it.But much to my surprise, it actually provides incredible length and definition without any clumps! Plus, it separates and curls my lashes so nicely as well! Nourishing rose water, jojoba and rosehip seed oil are in the formula to strengthen and nourish the lashes.

As for skincare, I got to try out the Hand Couture Anti-Aging Hand Crème. I always love a bougie hand cream and the fact that this one was anti-aging was a huge plus for me. Hands are the first things to start aging on your body soit’s actually super important to invest in a good hand cream. This one is formulated with Matrixyl Synthe\’6 which is an anti-wrinkle peptide. This Hand Couture reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles for smoother, firmer-looking hands, while brightening actives work to reduce the look of age spots and discolouration. At the same time, aloeganic aloe vera helps to soothe and softens dry hands. (I’m definitely putting this as a stocking stuffer for my mom for Christmas because I knowshe is gonna fall in love with it).

And no skincare post is ever complete without a mask. I have been obsessed (even more than ever) with masks lately because my skin has been freaking out and the only thing that seems to help in the slightest is if I consistently use masks every night or every second night. This one is the Aloette Muddy Up Deep Cleansing Mud Masque which helps to eliminate breakouts! Muddy Up helps to reduce the appearance of blackheads and enlarged pores over time while cleaning away dirt and debris. It’s super deep cleaning so I love to use this after a day when I went a little heavy on the makeup. And it’s perfect for acne-prone skin because it’s formulated with soothing cucumber extract to eliminate redness and help with inflammation. After I wash this mask off my face, my skin looks so much tighter and brighter! It’s amazing!

The last product was a winner in my books as well! See, this is why I was so darn impressed with Aloette. It’s very rare that I’m in lovewith every single product a brand sends me. But it happened with Aloette. The last product is the Nutri-Hydrating Mist. My skin has been so incredibly dry lately, so the fact that I can spray this mist on throughout the day has been an absolute lifesaver. It contains Aloeganic aloe vera, silk amino acids, and vitamins A, E, C and B5 so it’s super hydrating andworks to replenish your skin’s moisture level, leaving you with a glowing, healthy complexion. Throughout the day, my foundation almost seems to crack and dry patches show through so I always reach for this to help re-hydrate and set my makeup back in place! It’s such a great lil’ pick me up.
