  • Trying to be Allana Davison

Ah, yes. The snow still hasn’t disappeared. And I’m still mad about it. (Read all about exactly how mad I am in my last #ootd here). I’m 99% sure I got frostbite on my hands after shooting these pictures. Can someone pleaaaaase remind me why I live somewhere so cold. I just want summer NOW. RIGHT NOW. Even Oakley is annoyed with the cold. His little paws can’t handle it anymore. If only he was the kind of dog who would wear booties. Plus, how cute would he look in little boots?! One day, y’all. One day.

Okay, so enough about the cold. Let’s talk about my coat. Because. I. Am. Obsessed. Feel free to roll your eyes at me. I know, I say I’m obsessed about every coat I own. But I am super excited about this one. So I’ve been watching this Youtuber, Allana Davison, and I love her. Full on girl crush here. And I want to be her. So, the first step in being her, is copying all the clothes she wear cause she has AMAZING style. First, I bought the Daylina coat from Club Monaco cause she has that in grey (see that coat in action here). And then, I saw her wearing this beauty from Zara (see her wearing it here) and I knew I had to have it. It’s a creamy, beige pile sherpa coat that is amazingly soft with black leather accents. It’s probably everything I’ve ever wanted in a coat. And it’s surprisingly warm. Yes, it look warm, no argument there. But usually Zara coats are lacking in the warmth factor (and in quality, ugh). However, this one has a suede lining so it’s surprisingly good quality!

For the rest of my outfit, I’m wearing some new Citizens of Humanity jeans. I have been lusting over these for quite a while now and I finally bit the bullet and bought them. They’re the Rocket style (high rise), which you know I love, in the Darkness shade. They’re a deep, dark grey with distressing along the thighs and holes on either knee! They’re so cute! For the rest of my outfit, I’m wearing a warm black sweater with a big turtleneck (to keep warm of course) from Gap and some burgundy booties for that very slight pop of colour!
