  • Garnier Fructis Hair Treats

Okay folks. Garnier has outdone themselves with this launch. These are the new Garnier Fructis Hair Treats ($5.49CAD) that are a 3-in-1 product to use as a mask, conditioner or as a leave-in. I don’t know if it was the cute, colourful tubs that caught my eye or the delicious different scents that each one had, but I was instantly drawn to these lil’ guys. There’s five in the collection all designed to help with different needs you hair might have.

Before we jump into the specifics of what each tub does, let’s first go over the overall facts of the line. First of all, they contain 98% naturally derived ingredients as well as being vegan and silicone and paraben-free. And they’re great for the environment as well with a 94% biodegradable formula. And, as mentioned above, they can be used three different ways – As a conditioner, use after shampooing on wet hair, to untangle your hair, and then rinse out.As a mask, use after shampooing on wet hair and leave on for 3 minutes, to nourish, smooth and soften hair and then rinse out. As a leave-in after your hair care routine, use on dry hair to control frizz and for long lasting nutrition! I always love a good multi-use product!

Now on to the real exciting stuff: the scents and unique purpose of each of these Hair Treats. The first is the Damage Repairing Treat with papaya extract for intense repair. Next is the Nourishing Treat with coconut extract for long lasting nourishment. It basically smells like a Pina Colada. Yum. The third one, the Strengthening Treat, is probably my favorite. It contains banana extract and smells like banana Play-Doh. Do they even make banana scented/flavoured Play-Doh? Well they should because this is what I’d imagine it to smell like and it’s amazing. Then, for all y’all gals with colour-treated hair, there’s the Colour Vibrancy Treat with Goji Extract to add shine and control frizz. Lastly, there’s the Smoothing Treat with avocado extract (I do love myself some avocado) for the smoothest, frizz-free hair you can imagine.

What I love most about these Hair Treats is that they make my hair so unbelievably soft while not adding too much oils or weight to my hair. They kept the natural volume in my strands. Plus, it made my hair detangle so much easier than usual. I could run my fingers through my hair all day without reaching a single knot.

These really are a treat for your hair.
