  • A Lot Going On

I’ve been thinking about doing an outfit like this for a while now. And if I’m being totally honest, this outfit sums me up perfectly. I have never felt more myself. Please bury me in this outfit when I die. Is that okay to say? It’s necessary. This is the outfit I want to be remembered in.

It took a little while for this outfit to come together. When you’re doing an outfit that consists of entirely cheetah print, you have to be careful. If you select the wrong cheetah prints, you might look a lil’ crazy. You have to pick pieces that have cheetah spots that are a little varying from each other. That way, you can still see the individual pieces. If you pick clothing that all has the same cheetah print, it’s going to look like you’re just wearing a head to toe cheetah print jumpsuit. That ain’t cute, y’all. But luckily, I’m here to help you achieve all your cheetah print OOTD dreams.

Another important factor to remember when crafting a cheetah print outfit is to incorporate different textures into the look. For example, I have cheetah printed denim, wool, mohair and faux fur (yes, I didn’t kill any baby cheetahs for this look) paired together. By combining different textures, it really adds a lot of interest into the look. If all of the cheetah prints were the same fabric, this outfit would just be a little boring. I don’t want to be boring, y’know?

But you know what makes me sad? Some people don’t understand high fashion. They don’t get what I’m going for in this outfit. I can’t help it that I’m more of a visionary than the average joe. For example, my brother took what look at this outfit and said “wow, that’s a lot going on”. Like, excuse me? This is ART. This is a STATEMENT. This is FASHION. And then my mom said “oh no, Taylor. That is horrific”. Well mom, you keep wearing your boring ass jeans and t-shirts. You only wish you had more cheetah print in your closet. And my dad. Don’t even get me started on his reaction. He just kept laughing at me. It’s just sad how society doesn’t understand my talent for putting together outfits.

I wish I could say that this outfit is perfect. But there’s just one thing missing. A cheetah print purse. That’s what would really just complete the outfit. But I’m having trouble finding one that’s just right. It takes a certain level of finesse to tie all the cheetah prints together. But don’t you worry your pretty little heads. One day, I WILL find the perfect cheetah print purse and then I will reign as Queen Cheetah Lady. Watch out folks.

Oh, by the way, happy April Fools’ Day.
