I was just telling my boyfriend that I was unsure how to start this post off. Because after all, how do you make a post about hairspray interesting? And you might be wondering why I would even write a whole post about hairspray if it’s not interesting. But that’s the thing! This hairspray is interesting! Really interesting in fact. I swear! You just gotta believe me on that one.
So, what’s so interesting about these Schwarzkopf Osis+ Session Label Hairsprays? Let’s start with the Super Dry Memory Net ($20.50CAD). Before we can talk about what makes this hairspray interesting, we have to talk about what makes other hairsprays not interesting and therefore, why I don’t like other hairsprays. And yes, if you’re wondering, I am trying to set a world record for how many times I can say the word, interesting, in a blog post. We’re at eight times right now. Let’s shoot for 100.
I don’t like other hairsprays because they make my hair crunchy, greasy, sticky, tangly, and limp and I don’t find them to serve any other purpose. And thus, I haven’t been a hairspray user in the past.. until now. Imagine if I just ended the post like that. What a cliffhanger that would be. But no, dontcha worry, I really am about to tell you what makes these hairsprays interesting. I’m done beating around the bush.
This Super Dry Memory Net ($20.50CAD) is a super-concentrated formula. Even though it’s a tiny can and looks almost travel-sized, it lasts nearly as long as a standard can of hairspray. It’s unique spraying nozzle disperses this highly-concentrated formula super finely on the hair, meaning no crunchiness anywhere on your strands. Plus, the instant-drying microscopic droplets form a strong, yet fine and flexible, net on the hair for immediate memory hold. It won’t make your hair limp or greasy. And because of this memory net technology, you can brush your hair out after you apply the hairspray and it will keep it’s shape. It does exactly what I always wanted a hairspray to do. Interesting indeed.
I also tried out the Schwarzkopf OSIS+ Session Label Texture Hairspray ($21.50CAD). It’s not quite as interesting as the Memory Net hairspray, but it’s close. It also has an ultra-fine mist but it has more of a matte finish. It doesn’t add any shine to the hair like the Memory Net. It delivers a ton of texture, volume and body to the hair as well as a good amount of lift at the roots, so I love using this when I curl my hair to get that “I just rolled out of bed” look. Now if that’s not interesting, I don’t know what is.
Final word count of the number of times I said “interesting”: fourteen
