Taylor?! Filming a vlog?! Unheard of! No, your eyes and ears aren’t deceiving you. It’s true. I have decided to film some vlogs for the month of December. And why, you might ask? Well, I’ve done the inevitable and moved out! I couldn’t be more excited to finally be moving out of my family’s home and embarking on this new adventure to celebrate the end of 2020. What a year this has been!
When I first decided to move out, I knew I wanted to film the whole process for ze blog. There was two reasons for that. First, I wanted to show a very realistic viewpoint of what it’s actually like moving out for the first time and trying to figure all these “adult” (I say this as if I’m not an adult already) things out. And second, my blog is called When I’m Older. It follows the journey of me growing older. And since this is definitely a key part of aging, I wanted a diary entry of sorts on my blog documenting this journey! I think it’s so easy to get extremely stressed out in the moment while you’re doing something new for the first time, but I have a tendency to later look back on these life stages and wonder why I was ever nervous or worried. And so, I like having a documentation of my real, genuine thoughts and feelings while I’m going through these things.
And so, I have a whole bunch of vlogs lined up to go live on ze blog throughout December. I will be showing you an empty apartment tour, my first day moving in, organizing and packing and eventually, a furnished apartment tour!
