I am truly an autumn girly. The leaves, the colours, the crisp weather, the pumpkin spice lattes, and the outfits – especially the outfits! I love dressing for fall. I can really pull out all the layers and not have to worry about overheating as the day goes on. But, I have to admit my favorite part about fall fashion is all of the jackets. I love coats and jackets. It’s just so easy to create an outfit when all you have to do is grab a cute jacket and then pair it with a simple t-shirt and jeans. No fuss, no complications. One jacket + one tee + one pair of jeans = the perfect fall outfit. That’s my favorite mathematical equation.

And so let’s talk about the star jacket in today’s outfit: this leather bomber jacket from the Jacket Maker. I can’t believe it took me this long to get a leather bomber when it has already become such a staple in my closet. The Bliss Black Leather Bomber is made of sheepskin with a lovely quilted polyester lining so it’s quite warm and blocks out all the wind. It features an elasticized knit collar and knit cuffs with two inside pockets and two outside pockets. I did go up in size and got a medium because I wanted that slightly oversized, slouchy look. And that’s exactly what I got. It’s perfect if I do say so myself.

Like I mentioned earlier, I paired the jacket with just a simple t-shirt and jeans. The black t-shirt I’m wearing is a linen-cotton blend from Abercrombie. I must say their t-shirts are perfect in terms of fit and comfort, but oh boy do they fade FAST. I wash my black t-shirts with only black clothes but it’s always the Abercrombie shirts that fade rapidly. I will link some other black t-shirt options from Gap and Old Navy down below because those wash much better! As for the jeans, these are the Marlo jeans from Denim Forum at Aritzia. They’re described as a high-rise baggy jean. I would say they definitely have a more relaxed fit than I’m used to, but I just love how comfy they are! And they’re actually the perfect length for me – why is it that jeans are either way too short or way too long for me? But anyways, the wash colour is 5 yrs kiss n tell blue and I think it’s definitely the perfect mid-tone blue for Fall!

I kept the rest of the outfit pretty simple as well. I’m wearing my favorite Adidas Samba sneakers in the Aluminum Gum colourway. They feature an Aluminium leather and suede upper with a gum sole and Chalk White and Wonder Beige striping. I have been wearing these shoes constantly lately. They’re just so easy to pair with everything and anything! To complete the look I threw on a burgundy belt for a little bit of colour (can we talk about how much I love burgundy and wine coloured things right now?!) and this Babaton quilted bag that seems to fit so much more than it’s compact size would suggest. And there we have it! The most perfect, yet simple fall outfit.
