Skater skirts are very trendy right now and I really wanted to get my hands on one. This one from Akira is my favorite that I have seen because it is so versatile! It can easily be paired with a variety of things to make it suitable for each season. It is a black pleather with a polyester lining and flattering stitching on the sides and bottom. It also features an exposed gold zipper on the back. I think this skirt is a basic everybody needs in their closet! It can be made fancy, edgy, or girly with just a change of the top and a few accessories. I paired mine with this cream sheer top from American Eagle, a black infinity scarf from Dynamite, two toned bloch flats, and this bright Stella Rittwagen clutch for a pop of color! I am super excited to keep experimenting with what else I can pair with this stunning skirt! Be sure to check out Akira! (They have tons of other cute clothes too!)

The only problem about Akira that I thought I should mention, is that if you are ordering from Canada, you will have to pay customs. I was charged $20 in customs for a $40 skirt which is quite extravagant, so just be prepared for this before you order!
