Usually I’m not the biggest fan of large makeup sets. Even though, they’re always a great value, there’s often a lot of unneeded things in them that I would never end up using. However, this new set from Estee Lauder is absolutely perfect! We just got these in at Shoppers Drug Mart. Generally, being around makeup all day at work, I am able to resist buying everything in the store, but I could not pass up this set and I am so glad I didn’t!

With the exception of foundation, this set has all the makeup you could need for a full face of makeup. It includes 30 Pure Color Eyeshadows. I love the color range of these shadows. There are plenty of neutrals, but also a few brighter colors. But what I love about the colors, is that they are all entirely wearable. I hate the palettes that include obnoxiously bright turquoises and yellows and lime greens which I find myself never touching. All of the shadows included in this set are something that I could easily incorporate into an everyday look. There is a nice variety of mattes, shimmers and satins as well.

As for lip products, this set comes with 2 Pure Color Glosses. I love that these are able to be removed so you can easily put them in your purse for touchups throughout the day. The two colors are gorgeous, a bright watermelon pink, and a more neutral shimmery nude. Then, there are also 15 lipstick pots. 11 of them are the Long Lasting Lipsticks and 4 of them are the Crystal Lipsticks. These go on incredibly smooth and glossy and include everything from a bright red to a brown-toned nude. There is a shade that is perfect for every look possible!

My favorite part of this set is the blushes and bronzer. I am a huge blush person. I never walk out the door without a blush on so I was super happy to see that this palette included three blushes. I love the texture and pigmentation of these blushes, they are so easy to apply. There is also one bronzer included with this set. I don’t usually wear bronzer but I may start now because this bronzer is perfect! It has no orange tone to it which is always very important to me and it doesn’t appear too dark for my extremely pale complexion. Plus, it’s matte which is always awesome!

Lastly, there is also a dual ended pencil eyeliner in Blackened Black (a matte black) and Blackened Cocoa (a very dark brown), which will complete any eye look! There are also brushes included in this set which makes it perfect for travelling. There is a flat blush brush which I love for contouring, a sponge tip applicator, an all over shadow brush, and a lip brush! In addition, there is also a good sized mirror!

All in all, this palette is amazing and I will be definitely getting a lot of use out of it! I wouldn’t be wrong to think these are going to sell out very quickly, so run to your nearest Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up one! And in case, you are finding that you have absolutely too much makeup to justify this, these make fantastic gifts as well! It’s never too late to start holiday shopping!
