HITS
Kiehl’s Lip Balm- Original and Vanilla (find here)- I love these lip balms! They are available in many yummy flavours like Mango, Vanilla, and Pear.
Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm (find here)- This is probably my all time favourite lip balm. The only downsides to it is that the pot is incredibly small and I can use this up in a month.
C.O. Bigelow Lavender Salve (find here)- Although this salve seems quite thin and not very moisturizing, it is easily absorbed and leaves your lips feeling smooth.
Nuxe Lip Moisturizing Stick (find here)- This is another one of my favourite lip balms. I used this one up quite quickly as well but it works so well!
Softlips Pure- This is my second tube of this so you know it must be good! It is very similar to the Nuxe lip balm.
Wild Prairie Soap Company- I love all of the lip balms from Wild Prairie Soap Company. They are quite a simple lip balm that are available in a variety of scents like Oh Canada and Mango Kiss.
MISSES
Ole Henriksen Fresh Lips (find here)- I feel like this lip balm has a lot of potential but the texture is a bit too thick for me and I’m not a fan of the scent.
Fresh Sugar Rose (find here)- I don’t understand why these lip balms have so much hype. I don’t find them moisturizing at all and the actual sticks breaks off so easily, the texture is too soft.
The Body Shop Born Lippy- Watermelon (find here)- Once again, the only reason I have so many of these lip balms is because of how yummy they smell. However, the formula is far too sticky for me.
Mox Botanicals- Black Plum and Fig- I have tried to love this lip balm but the formula is far too hard for me to even get it out of the pot and onto my lips.
Blistex- Raspberry Lemonade Blast (find here)- This lip balm would be really great except for the fact that it leaves a strange white residue on your lips. However, this is one of my favourite scents!
Softlips- Honey Dew Melon (find here)- I used to really love these lip balms but I now just find them extremely ineffective.
C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Balm (find here)- This lip balm reminds me a lot of the Sugar Rose lip balm. It has the same soft texture that allows it to slip right off your lips.
